In 2019, a grove of 50 yellow magnolias was planted in dedication to (__). The grove has a bench just off the Kari Walkway, its path decorated with bamboo brushing and stonework by Shozo Sato. Perhaps the only yellow magnolia collection in the midwest, it is definitely worth a visit mid to late April to see the wonderful blooms.
