In 2013, 12 black metal benches lining the Linden allée were installed with a generous donation provided by the Romweber and Santogrossi families. Following the bench installation, liriope beds with hydrangea, azaleas, and daylilies were also planted. The Linden allée is a popular area in the Arboretum to rest, read, and play in the shade of the linden trees.
